Tapestries

“Tapestries” was a term I first came across in a photo impressionism book that changed the way I do photography forever.  The idea is that they are the layering of mutiple images, but it turns out to be much more complicated than that to achieve a pleasing final image.  I think of them as textures more than pictures, and each is totally unique.  They are sold as one-off prints, so once an image is gone, it is gone!  On the plus side, I can create them to request in terms of both colours and underlying imagery, and doing tapestries to specification is one of the fun photography challenges.
